My Work

Recycling Art:

At the base of my work there is matter.

I have been mainly influenced by the restoration techniques I learnt from my father, and by the daily manual contact with ancient objects.

Thus by collecting old iron pieces, drift wood and all sort of rejected materials walking along our sea-shores, my art turns out to be the result of the negative trends of modernity.

Healing Art:

All human Beings experience the need of discovering their creative nature: by doing art, i answer this need, that’s my way of healing.

Art to Please:

Art as a balance between being pleased and pleasing.

What I attempt to do with my work is to find a harmonic link among colors, materials and shapes in order to fulfill the infinite and insatiable principle of pleasure.
